Dr Peter Glennon recently retired after a near 40 year career as a GP, mostly spent as a full time grassroots clinician, with interests in rheumatology, education, immediate care, and dermoscopy. After retiring from a large practice in Stafford aged 62 he spent the last 5 years working as a salaried GP for NHS Shetland in remote practices in the Highlands and Islands rediscovering the joy of primary care. A specific life event (to be revealed) rekindled his interest in Sjögren Disease and his becoming the GP member of the BSR Sjögren guideline group.
